About Vitelli’s Upstairs

An Italian restaurant and bar in Redfern inspired by New York red-sauce dining, with fresh daily pasta, classic cocktails and nights that unfold slowly.

What you’ll be doing:

• Helping deliver an amazing guest experience
• Working closely with the kitchen + team
• Jumping in where needed during busy services

Food Runners:

• Running food + drinks and accurately describing dishes at tables
• Supporting the floor team to ensure smooth service flow

Waitstaff:

• Managing your own section of tables
• Taking orders, building guest rapport, and ensuring exceptional service throughout the dining experience

Bartender:

• Preparing and serving cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages
• Maintaining a clean, organised bar and creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests

Host:

• Greeting and seating guests with warmth and professionalism
• Managing bookings, waitlists, and guest communication to ensure a seamless arrival experience

What we’re looking for:

• Relevant hospo experience
• Confident, friendly, and a team player
• Cool under pressure and quick on your feet
• Available nights + weekends
