Finance Manager

Summary:

The Finance Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial operations of our organisation in Macquarie Park, New South Wales. This position is essential for ensuring the financial health and sustainability of the business, providing strategic insights and guidance to senior management. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in finance and management, enabling them to drive financial performance and support decision-making processes.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement financial strategies to support the organisation’s goals.
• Prepare and analyse financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
• Full ownership of the books across all group entities.
• Monthly management reporting (P&L, Balance Sheet and Cashflow).
• Consolidated group reporting and intercompany reconciliation.
• Monitor financial performance and provide insights to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Manage cash flow and optimise the organisation’s financial resources.
• Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with other departments to align financial objectives with operational goals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Professional qualification such as CPA, CA, or ACCA is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance management or a similar role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
