Hormn is a rapidly growing telehealth platform focused on men’s health. We are
introducing a new clinical role designed to streamline access to essential pathology
testing through a compliant, technology-enabled workflow.
We are seeking AHPRA-registered medical practitioners to join us in a
non-patient-facing role focused on reviewing patient-submitted health information and
issuing pathology referrals where clinically appropriate.
About the Role
This is a triage and clinical review role, not a traditional consultation-based position.
- Review structured patient questionnaires (including validated screening tools)
- Apply clinical judgment to determine whether pathology is appropriate
- Issue bulk-billed pathology referrals via our platform
- Review returned pathology results
- Add brief clinical notes and refer patients internally to treating practitioners where
- needed
- There is no direct patient consultation (phone or video) required
Key Features
- 100% remote and asynchronous – work at times that suit you
- No Medicare billing or admin burden – pathology providers bill directly
- Streamlined workflow – reviews typically take ~1–2 minutes per case
- Full clinical autonomy – you can approve or decline referrals based on your judgment
- Comprehensive audit trail and governance framework
Clinical Scope
This role is centred on men’s health screening, with a particular focus on hormonal and
metabolic pathology. Doctors will work with structured clinical data, including validated
screening tools, to support consistent and evidence-based decision-making. The
workflow is designed to enable efficient clinical review while maintaining appropriate
standards of care, with clearly defined escalation pathways in place for any abnormal or
complex results. Where further management is required, patients are referred internally
to Hormn’s treating practitioners for ongoing care, ensuring continuity within a broader
clinical framework.
Who This Suits
This role is well suited to medical practitioners seeking flexible, low-friction clinical work
that can be performed remotely and asynchronously. It is particularly appealing to those
who prefer non-patient-facing responsibilities or are looking to complement their existing
clinical commitments with an additional, efficient income stream. Doctors who are
comfortable working within structured, technology-enabled workflows and who value
autonomy in their clinical decision-making will find this role to be a strong fit.
Requirements
- Current AHPRA general registration (no restrictions)
- Medicare provider number (or willingness to obtain one for Hormn’s practice location)
- Professional indemnity insurance covering telehealth/remote care
- Comfortable working in a digital, protocol-driven environment
