About the role

Our Planning and Environment team is known for its extensive experience, loyalty (to clients and each other) and a reputation for excellence and as a result, we’re growing and have opportunities at the Solicitor and Associate level to join our team.

You’ll have the opportunity to work with both public and private sector clients across a diverse range of matters, including:

  • Planning law and development approval processes, including litigation and dispute resolution
  • Land Court proceedings involving property resumptions and valuation objections
  • Drafting statutory documents and negotiating infrastructure documents
  • Environmental approvals, compliance and litigation including prosecutions
  • Due diligence investigations on large property transactions and public floats

About you

You’re a motivated and thoughtful practitioner who’s ready to take the next step in your Planning and Environment career – and you’re looking for the right team to grow with.

We think you’ll thrive in this role if you are:

  • Experienced in Planning and Environment Law (1 to 2+ years PAE, depending on role level)
  • Curious, collaborative and eager to deepen your expertise
  • Comfortable balancing technical detail with ‘big picture’ thinking
  • Able to communicate with clarity and authenticity, no matter the audience – councils, developers or government agencies
  • Looking for a long-term role where your contribution is valued, and you enjoy coming to work
