We are seeking a commercially driven and relationship-focused Business Development Manager to drive growth across our Queensland region.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives on winning new business, building strong industry relationships, and managing opportunities from initial engagement through to contract award.

About the role

Reporting to the Director, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and securing commercial opportunities across the builder, developer, and project sectors.

You will own the full sales lifecycle—building pipeline, managing tenders and quotations, and ensuring smooth handover to internal teams—while maintaining strong client relationships and delivering on revenue and margin targets.

  • Represent the business at client meetings, networking, and industry events

Project Coordination

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate quoting and project handover
  • Support communication between clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
  • Monitor project progress to ensure client expectations are met

Reporting & Performance

  • Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasting, and sales activity records
  • Report on performance, conversion rates, and commercial outcomes
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategy

  • Ability to manage multiple opportunities and stakeholders concurrently

Desirable:

  • Experience in construction, building supplies, bathroomware, or related industries
  • Understanding of commercial project lifecycles and contract-based sales
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, or similar
