Description

The Stores and Logistics Line Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and controlling all activities (strategic and operational) within the end-to-end stores and logistics function of Hidrive across all sites.

About you

  • Qualifications in Business Management
  • Qualifications in Stores & Logistics Management
  • Forklift License (desirable)
  • HR, HC or MC (optional)
  • Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement qualifications desirable

 

Key Accountabilities

In summary, this position is responsible for:

 

  • Leading end-to-end warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking/packing, dispatch, returns and stock control, ensuring accurate inventory levels and on-time, in-full supply to operations.
  • Driving compliance with 5S standards and contribute to working capital and inventory optimisation initiatives.
  • Overseeing cost recovery processes, support production supply and ensure seamless coordination across multiple sites to maintain efficient material flow and high service levels.
  • Managing transport and logistics to ensure safe, compliant and cost-effective movement of goods, including fleet maintenance, regulatory adherence and driver safety.
  • Building and managing strong 3PL partnerships and SLAs, negotiate rates and resolve delivery issues.
  • Leading continuous improvement and optimisation initiatives across warehousing and logistics, while coaching and developing a high-performing team.
  • Setting clear KPIs and fostering a culture of safety, accountability, customer service and operational excellence.
