Description

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Assistant to join our Supply Chain team in Goulburn on a full-time, 12-month fixed-term contract.

In this role, you will play an important part in supporting the department’s procurement activities while also contributing across the broader Supply Chain function, including Stores. Working closely with colleagues across the business, you will help ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our supply chain activities in line with team and company objectives.

This is a predominantly administration-based role, ideal for someone who enjoys working in a collaborative environment, has strong organisational skills and takes pride in delivering accurate and timely support. Building positive relationships with internal stakeholders and customers will be key to helping Hidrive achieve its business goals and maintain high standards of service and efficiency.

  • Experience working with accounting or manufacturing data bases preferable

About the Role

Supporting the departments activities in line with departmental procedures, including:

Procurement:

  • Procurement of stock, consumables and tools
  • Procurement of sales order specific components
  • Follow up Purchase Orders to ensure that the Suppliers are delivering to Hidrive within the terms stated on the Purchase Order
  • Warranty process managed
  • Internal orders process managed
  • Maintaining supplier correspondence
  • Maintaining product and Inventory data
  • Maintaining supplier information
  • Administration for, and use of, surplus stock
  • Administration of vendor NCRs
  • Supports the Procurement Manager and Head of Supply Chain in projects relating to supply chain management

Stores:

  • Maintenance of Kanban cards and labelling
  • Processing stock receipt forms and processing this ready for invoicing and resolve invoice queries
  • Assist with managing the Kanban process through auditing of stock levels
  • Assist with stock take counting and processing
