The Warehouse Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of our mining warehouse in Mount Morgan, Queensland. This permanent, full-time position is essential for ensuring efficient inventory management, compliance with safety regulations, and the effective coordination of warehouse staff. The successful candidate will contribute to optimising warehouse processes, thereby supporting the overall productivity and success of our mining operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols.
  • With excellent PRONTO skills manage inventory levels, including receiving, storing, and dispatching materials and equipment.
  • Lead and train warehouse staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.Adhering to our values of safety, responsibilty, respect and innovation.
  • Conduct regular inspections of warehouse facilities and equipment to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Implement and maintain inventory management systems to track stock levels and optimise storage solutions.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate fulfilment of orders.
  • Prepare reports on warehouse performance metrics and suggest improvements as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in warehouse management or supervisory roles, ideally within the mining industry.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management principles and safety regulations.
  • Relevant qualification in Dangerous Goods, Materials Handling and hazardous subtances.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficient in using warehouse management software (PRONTO) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
