Reporting to the Processing Crew Supervisor the Operator Copper Recovery plays a crucial role in the mining industry by ensuring the efficient extraction and processing of copper in solution. Based in Mount Morgan, Queensland, this permanent full-time position is essential for maintaining operational excellence and supporting the overall productivity of the mining site. Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor copper recovery circuit to ensure optimal performance.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of machinery to prevent breakdowns.
• Record and analyse production data to identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets and maintain safety protocols.
• Assist in the training of new operators and provide guidance on best practices.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and company policies.

Qualifications:.

• Proven experience in a mining or industrial environment, preferably in copper recovery operations.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and environmental practices in the mining industry.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly with colleagues.
• Proficient in using monitoring and control systems related to copper recovery processes.

Desirable:
