The opportunity: 12 months fixed term.

Are you a commercially minded Business Analyst who loves turning complex business challenges into smart, practical solutions? This is an exciting opportunity to join HDI Global in Sydney and play a key role in shaping how our Claims, Finance and wider business teams work, improve and deliver value.

• Take a lead role in analysing claims and financial systems as part of an important project to replace our Specialty Claims system.
• Partner closely with Finance and business teams to uncover requirements, improve processes and create meaningful efficiencies.
• Work side by side with stakeholders to understand business and automation needs, analyse requirements and map current processes.
• Translate business needs into clear requirements and future-state processes that support strategic goals, operational efficiency and better customer outcomes.
• Develop high-level project plans, define scope requirements and help turn ideas into action.

What you’ll bring:

• Strong Business Analyst experience within a corporate environment, ideally in insurance or financial services.
• Sharp analytical thinking, structured problem-solving skills and the confidence to work through complex business challenges.
• A proven track record of translating business requirements into data, system and technical requirements.
• A strong understanding of business processes, systems and data flows.
• Experience working in agile or hybrid delivery environments.
• The flexibility to manage several initiatives at once while keeping priorities clear and momentum strong.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to build trusted relationships across business and technology teams.
• High attention to detail, a value-focused mindset and a genuine interest in improving how work gets done.
