Description

The Role:

We are looking for a talented and driven Digital Content Creator and visual storyteller to join our Brand and Creative teams. This is a dynamic, end-to-end creative role where you will own the full craft – conceiving the story, capturing it on camera, and editing and producing polished, industry-leading video and photography that elevates the Harris brand across all channels. You won’t just shoot footage; you’ll deliver finished, broadcast-quality pieces that people actually want to watch.

From scroll-stopping short-form social content to long-form brand storytelling, campaign collateral, headshots, and website assets – you will work across every content touchpoint in the business, always with narrative at the heart of the work. You will collaborate closely with the Brand Manager & Creative Lead and our editorial team to deliver content that is consistent, compelling, and commercially effective.

This role requires someone who can travel across all 12 Harris locations, understand the nuances of each market, and produce content that resonates locally while remaining aligned to the national brand vision.

Key Responsibilities:

Video Production & Photography

  • Conceive, plan, shoot, and edit short-form and long-form video content with strong narrative and storytelling at its core, for use across social platforms, websites, campaigns, and internal communications – taking each piece from concept to polished final cut
  • Capture high-quality photography for listings, brand campaigns, editorial, cross-brand collaborations and digital assets
  • Conduct professional headshot sessions for staff across all 12 Harris locations
  • Operate cameras, lighting, audio, and stabilisation equipment to a broadcast-quality standard
  • Manage footage, file organisation, and media libraries across projects

Social Media Content

  • Create engaging, platform-native content for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube
  • Produce Reels, Stories, and short-form vertical video optimised for each platform’s algorithm and format
  • Stay across social media trends, audio, and formats – and apply them to the Harris brand with creative flair
  • Collaborate with the wider Brand & Creative teams to align content with campaign schedules and social media strategy

Campaign & Brand Collaboration

  • Work alongside the Brand Manager & Creative to produce content collateral for all major campaigns
  • Contribute creative ideas and visual concepts during campaign briefing and planning stages
  • Collaborate with the broader brand and creative team to ensure visual consistency across all output
  • Partner with editors and designers to deliver polished, production-ready assets on time and on brief

Cross-Location Coverage

  • Travel across Harris’s 12 South Australian offices to capture location-specific content
  • Develop a strong understanding of each market area and tailor content accordingly
  • Build relationships with local teams, agents, and stakeholders to facilitate smooth content capture on-site

Skills & Experience:

Essential

  • Proven experience in videography and photography, with a standout portfolio that demonstrates genuine storytelling ability – not just clips, but finished, industry-leading pieces with a clear narrative across a range of content types
  • Proficiency in video editing software – Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent
  • Demonstrated experience in social media content creation, particularly short-form video and reels
  • Strong understanding of composition, lighting, colour grading, and audio production
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver to deadlines
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams
  • A valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel across South Australia

Highly Regarded

  • Experience in real estate, property, or agency environments (not essential)
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Lightroom, Photoshop, After Effects)
  • Experience with drone operation
  • Understanding of brand strategy and how content fits within broader marketing campaigns
  • Basic experience with analytics tools to understand content performance

What We Offer:

  • A collaborative, high-energy creative team that values bold ideas
  • Real creative ownership – the freedom and backing to build a standout body of work and define the visual story of one of the state’s leading brands
  • The opportunity to work across a well-established, innovative South Australian brand
  • Variety – no two days are the same across 12 diverse locations and markets
  • A culture that champions innovation, creative freedom, and professional development
  • Competitive remuneration commensurate with experience

Our employee benefits:

  • Health and Wellbeing Program, with access to confidential counselling, financial and nutritional coaching, legal assistance as well as speakers and activities focused on all mental and physical wellbeing
  • Corporate discounts
  • Recharge Days and Volunteer Leave
  • Staff birthday and anniversary gifts
  • Quarterly Awards and Annual Award dinner
  • Focus on career development and continuous training

Who we are:

Harris Real Estate is one of South Australia’s most recognised and respected real estate brands. With 12 locations across the state, we operate at the intersection of people, property, and place – and we believe that great content tells great stories.

We’re a brand built on innovation, and we’re looking for a storyteller behind the lens who can match our ambition. This is a role for someone who sees a story in every space, every street, and every face – and knows exactly how to capture it, shape it, and turn it into video that stops the scroll. If you live and breathe visual storytelling, obsess over the craft of the edit, and want to build a body of industry-leading work somewhere that genuinely invests in its creative output, we want to hear from you.

Please click ‘Apply’ and submit your cover letter, portfolio and resume. Applications close 24 July 2026.
