Harris HMC is seeking an experienced A-Grade Electrician to support the ongoing maintenance of commercial solar installations across a diverse portfolio of sites.

This is an excellent opportunity for an electrician with solar experience who enjoys working independently while also being part of a professional maintenance team.

About the Role

The successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining, inspecting and troubleshooting commercial solar systems, while also supporting our broader electrical service operations when required.

Key responsibilities include:

• Carrying out planned maintenance on commercial solar systems
• Inspecting solar panels, rooftop installations, cabling and inverter performance
• Diagnosing and responding to solar system faults
• Cleaning solar panels where required
• Completing service reports and maintenance documentation
• Undertaking reactive maintenance work
• Assisting with general electrical service and maintenance works across our client portfolio

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

• A current A-Grade Electrical Licence
• Experience with commercial solar systems
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• A commitment to safety and quality workmanship
• The ability to work autonomously and manage your workload effectively
