Trailer Fitter – Carosue Dam 

• FIFO ex Perth/Busselton or DIDO Kalgoorlie 
• Permanent position with leave entitlements 
• Days shift only  

About the job: 

Located at our Carosue Dam workshop, the primary aim of the position is to safely and efficiently maintain a fleet of various types of Road Train trailers to maintain high levels of fleet availability.  

The day-to-day duties include lubrication and maintenance tasks including: 

• Brake relines and booster replacements repairs and maintenance 
• Fitting, plumbing and testing of airbrake systems 
• Fitting and testing of suspension systems 
• Reconditioning and maintaining turntables 
• Reconditioning and maintaining ring feeders 

About you: 

• You will have proven work history on a mine site or heavy machinery workshop. 
• You may not have formal qualifications, but you are very handy and mechanically minded. 
• You will have a demonstrated history of working with a constant eye to maintaining a safe work environment.  
• You clearly take pride in your work and enjoy working as part of a larger workshop team. 
• You will hold your C class drivers’ license (or above). 
• You will have strong communication skills. 
• You must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol test. 
• You hold a current National Police Clearance or can obtain one. 
• You will already hold the right to work in Australia

About the opportunity: 

• 2:1 Roster, days only – 12hr days 
• FIFO ex Perth/Busselton or DIDO Kalgoorlie 
• Permanent, full-time employment with leave entitlements 
• Hourly rate of $38.00 (gross) plus 12% superannuation and five (5) weeks annual leave a year
