ABOUT HAMPSHIRE HOLIDAYS

Part of Hampshire Property Group is Hampshire Holidays, a growing challenger brand in the holiday industry with big plans and we’re looking for a Social Media Lead who’s ready to help us do things a little differently.

You’ll help shape a bold, distinctive social presence for Hampshire Holidays, spot the trends worth jumping on, bring our parks and experiences to life, and support our teams to grow their confidence and capability across social.

We’re after someone with great instincts, big ideas and a sharp eye for what’s happening now. Someone who can help us build a brand people recognise, remember and actually want to follow.

 We’re looking for:

  • A social-first thinker who lives and breathes social and understands what makes people stop, watch, share and engage.
  • Bold creative instincts and the confidence to challenge category conventions and help a challenger brand stand out.
  • Strong trend awareness – knowing what’s happening now, what’s worth jumping on and what’s better left alone.
  • A great storyteller who can turn everyday holiday moments, destinations and experiences into content people want to follow.
  • Strong short-form video skills, from spotting the idea through to capturing, editing and publishing engaging content.
  • A sharp understanding of brand and tone of voice, with the judgement to build a personality that feels unmistakably Hampshire.
  • Social search know-how, understanding how TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and emerging platforms are increasingly used for discovery and research.
  • A strategic mindset – able to build channel and content strategies, not just fill a content calendar.
  • Confidence working with creators and UGC, including famils, influencer partnerships and turning guest content into something valuable.
  • A natural coach and collaborator who can support our park teams to create better content and grow their own social presence.
  • Commercial thinking – connecting social activity back to campaigns, website traffic, direct bookings and our growing range of experiences.
  • Comfort with data and insights, using performance to understand what’s working and make the next piece of content even better.
  • Australian cultural awareness – understanding our humour, destinations, holiday habits and the moments our audiences care about.
  • A willingness to go explore – getting out to our parks and destinations, meeting our teams and guests, and finding the stories you simply can’t create from behind a desk.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role, you will:

  • Develop and own Hampshire Holidays’ social media strategy across brand and park channels.
  • Shape a distinctive, relevant social voice that supports our challenger brand positioning.
  • Lead content planning and creation, with a strong focus on short-form video, trends and social-first storytelling.
  • Build and manage our influencer, creator and UGC program, including famils and content partnerships.
  • Support and train park teams to create stronger local content and grow their social capability.
  • Visit parks and destinations to capture content and support launches, activations and new experiences.
  • Use social SEO, platform insights and emerging trends to improve discovery and reach.
  • Work closely with paid media and broader Marketing teams to connect social activity to campaigns and commercial outcomes.
  • Track performance across reach, engagement, traffic, assisted conversions and brand growth.
  • Test new platforms, formats and tools, scaling what works across the Hampshire network.

WHY WORK WITH US?

At Hampshire Property Group, you will join a collaborative Marketing team within a growing organisation. We offer:

  • A specialist role with the opportunity to shape social media for a new brand.
  • Exposure to a diverse mix of properties and products including holiday parks, motels, restaurants and golf simulators.
  • The opportunity to experiment with emerging AI-search technologies.
  • A collaborative, respectful and customer-focused workplace.
  • Generous staff discounts across our holiday park portfolio.
