Heatherbrae Holiday Village, located near Raymond Terrace and the gateway to Port Stephens, offers a convenient setting for guests travelling through or exploring the Hunter and Port Stephens regions. The village provides a relaxed base with easy access to local services, major roads and nearby attractions.

We are currently seeking Casual Housekeepers to join our team.

This role includes weekend work and availability across a 7-day rotating roster, with shifts, hours and work locations varying week to week.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a hands-on role responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and presentation.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Cleaning and maintaining guest accommodation, amenities and shared facilities
• Cleaning and presenting bathrooms, camp kitchens, laundries and communal areas
• Restocking cleaning products, toiletries and other supplies as required
• Maintaining cleanliness around BBQ and recreational areas
• Supporting the general presentation and cleanliness of both parks
• Identifying and reporting maintenance or safety issues to management
• Working efficiently to ensure accommodation and facilities are ready and presented to a high standard for guests
• Assisting the wider park team when required

The successful applicant must possess:

• Previous housekeeping experience
• Attention to detail when it comes to cleanliness
• The ability to work unsupervised, and as part of a team
• Excellent personal presentation with a friendly disposition
• A willingness to carry out various tasks as required
• Basic computer literacy with the confidence and ability to learn new systems
• Available to be rostered over a 7-day rotating roster including weekends (days/times will vary each week)
• Be available for an immediate start

REMUNERATION

The rate of pay for this role will be in accordance with the Hospitality General Award.
