As part of our team, you’ll play an important role in maintaining the presentation, safety and functionality of the park while helping create memorable experiences for our guests.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Park Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining the presentation, safety and functionality of the park grounds, accommodation, buildings and guest facilities. You will lead and support the maintenance function while ensuring the property is maintained to the highest standard for guests and visitors.
This is a hands-on leadership role requiring a proactive approach to grounds and property maintenance, excellent organisational skills and a strong commitment to safety, quality and customer service. You’ll take pride in maintaining an attractive park environment while supporting day-to-day operational requirements.
This is a Full-time position that includes participation in an on-call roster and regular weekend work.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise and coordinate day-to-day grounds and maintenance activities across the park
- Maintain the presentation of park grounds, gardens, accommodation and shared facilities
- Carry out general building repairs, preventative maintenance and minor refurbishments
- Undertake gardening, landscaping, irrigation and tree maintenance
- Safely operate power tools, maintenance equipment and ride-on machinery
- Coordinate preventative maintenance programs and respond promptly to maintenance requests
- Liaise with contractors and service providers to ensure maintenance works are completed safely and efficiently
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements and company standards
- Assist with park projects, capital improvements and site upgrades
- Participate in the on-call roster and respond to after-hours maintenance issues when required
ABOUT YOU
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
- Previous experience in grounds, facilities or property maintenance, ideally within holiday parks, hospitality, tourism or a similar environment
- Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience
- Strong knowledge of general building maintenance, landscaping and grounds care
- Experience operating power tools, ride-on mowers and maintenance equipment safely
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing tasks
- A proactive, hands-on approach with exceptional attention to detail
- Strong communication and customer service skills with a guest-focused attitude
- A current manual driver’s licence
- A current (or willingness to obtain) National Police Check and First Aid Certificate
