Wodonga Holiday Park is a welcoming holiday park located in Wodonga, Victoria, offering a range of cabins, caravan and camping sites for guests visiting the Albury-Wodonga region. With well-maintained grounds and facilities, the park provides a comfortable and convenient base for holidaymakers, workers and travellers exploring the region.

We are currently seeking a Casual Grounds & Maintenance Officer to join our team.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a hands-on role responsible for maintaining the presentation, safety and functionality of the park grounds, facilities and common areas.

Working closely with the Park Manager, you will assist with the day-to-day upkeep of the park to ensure our guests enjoy a clean, safe and well-presented environment.

The role involves physically demanding work, including regular manual handling and lifting, along with the safe and competent use of power tools and maintenance equipment.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • General grounds maintenance including mowing, edging, hedging and landscaping
  • Maintaining gardens, lawns and communal outdoor areas
  • Operating grounds and maintenance equipment safely and effectively
  • Upkeep of park facilities and common areas
  • Assisting with minor repairs and general maintenance tasks
  • Identifying and reporting maintenance or safety issues to the Park Manager
  • Maintaining a clean, safe and well-presented park environment
  • Supporting the wider park team with general property upkeep as required

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys maintaining outdoor spaces and facilities to a high standard.

The successful applicant will possess:

  • Previous experience in grounds, gardening or property maintenance preferred
  • Current Australian Driver’s Licence
  • Ability to perform manual tasks including lifting, carrying and repetitive physical activities
  • Confidence safely operating power tools and maintenance equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining presentation standards
  • A reliable, proactive and safety-focused approach
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A friendly and professional manner when interacting with guests and the wider park team

You will be competent in the use of equipment such as:

  • Ride-on mowers
  • Hedge trimmers
  • Whipper snippers
  • Chainsaws
  • High-powered hand tools

REMUNERATION

The rate of pay for this role will be in accordance with the Hospitality General Award.
