We are currently seeking a Casual All-Rounder (Reception & Housekeeping) to join our team.

THE ROLE

We are seeking a motivated and community-focused Casual All-Rounder to work across both Housekeeping and Reception at Leschenault Inlet Caravan Park.

This is a varied, hands-on role where you’ll work across both areas depending on the operational needs of the park. You’ll help ensure shared facilities and communal areas are clean and presented to a high standard, while also providing friendly and efficient assistance to residents and visitors through reception.

The role includes weekend work and requires availability across a 7-day rotating roster, with shifts and hours varying based on business needs. From time to time, you may also be required to participate in an on-call roster to assist with after-hours enquiries or operational matters.

Responsibilities

Housekeeping

  • Clean and present accommodation and shared facilities to a high standard
  • Clean bathrooms, amenities, camp kitchens and other shared facilities
  • Restock linen, toiletries, cleaning products and supplies as required
  • Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of communal and recreational areas
  • Identify and report maintenance or safety issues to management
  • Support the overall presentation and cleanliness of the park

Reception

  • Welcome residents and guests and assist with enquiries
  • Manage reservations, check-in and check-out processes as required
  • Respond to resident and guest enquiries and telephone calls
  • Process payments and undertake cash handling duties
  • Provide local area information and deliver friendly, professional service
  • Complete general reception and administrative tasks
  • Assist with after-hours enquiries when participating in the on-call roster

As an All-Rounder, you’ll be expected to work across both Housekeeping and Reception depending on the operational needs of the park. Flexibility and a willingness to undertake hands-on cleaning duties are essential to the role.

ABOUT YOU

To thrive in this role, you’ll bring:

  • Previous experience in a caravan park, residential community, accommodation or hospitality environment (preferred)
  • A willingness to undertake both reception and hands-on housekeeping duties as a core part of the role
  • Experience using reservation systems (RMS experience highly regarded, but training can be provided)
  • A friendly, positive and community-focused attitude
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • A hands-on approach with excellent attention to detail
  • Sound computer skills, including Microsoft Office
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent personal presentation and reliability
  • Flexibility to work across a 7-day rotating roster, including weekends, and participate in an on-call roster as required
  • Availability for an immediate start will be highly regarded

Remuneration

The rate of pay for this role will be in accordance with the Hospitality Industry (General) Award.
