THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced and safety-focused HC Crane Truck Operator to join our Timber & Truss transport team. Reporting directly to the Transport Supervisor, you will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and professional delivery of timber, trusses, and building materials to residential and commercial construction sites.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES

  • Maintain a professional and customer-focused approach on all deliveries.
  • Operate HC crane trucks to transport and deliver timber, trusses, frames, and associated building products.
  • Safely load, secure, transport, and unload materials in accordance with company procedures and Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements.
  • Perform crane operations on-site using vehicle-mounted cranes in a safe and controlled manner.

QUALIFICATIONS | EXPERIENCE | CAPABILITIES

  • Current HC licence with proven crane truck driving experience. (Manual Double Clutch)
  • Current CV licence with proven crane experience.
  • Experience delivering timber, trusses, frames, or oversized building materials highly regarded.
  • Strong understanding of load restraint and transport compliance requirements.
  • Good communication and time management skills.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • DG (dogging) ticket is required, LF ticket optional.
