Clinical Assistant

About This Opportunity

We are seeking a Clinical Assistant to join our team at Gympie. This is an ideal role for a candidate looking to grow with our practice and learn new skills. This is a busy role and that requires you to be on your feet for most of the day. We are considering full time and part time options.

Main responsibilities include:

• Ensure that the imaging rooms are properly prepared and hygienically cleaned for each scan
• Providing support to our Imaging Technicians and radiologists, and assisting with manual handling of patients
• Set up of procedures and supporting radiologists with procedures
• Processing patient visits, ensuring that the patient is changed and ready for their scan in a timely manner
• Occasionally required to act as chaperone during patient visits
• Maintaining stores and stocks

About You

• Excellent communication skills
• Personable and well-presented
• Friendly, caring and compassionate nature with the ability to work collaboratively within a team
• Passion for providing excellent customer service and patient care
• Proactive and efficient
• Proficient computer skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• You are able to work flexible hours, between 7am – 9pm Monday to Friday and occasionally a Saturday shift may be required
