About the Role:

Located in Ballarat, we are looking for a suitably qualified and motivated part time Recruitment Coordinator to join our team.
What we’re looking for:
·Supporting end to end recruitment by posting ads, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, preparing employment agreements, managing pre-employment checks and ensuring a seamless
and positive onboarding experience for every new employee.
·Coordination of onboarding inductions, IT, payroll and other relevant stakeholders.
·Facilitate structured and compliant offboarding by coordinating end-to-end exit processes including
resignation documentation and exit interviews
·Maintain accurate employee records and taking ownership of data entry within our HRIS (Employment Hero)
·Consult with managers to discover staff requirements and specific job objectives.
·Write and post job descriptions on career websites, newspapers and university boards.
·Source candidates by using databases, social media and other means.
·Evaluate and screen resumes and cover letters.
·Conduct phone, Teams and/or in-person interviews with relevant managers.
·Help the hiring team with recruiting methods and interview questions.
·Contact new employees and prepare onboarding sessions.
·Prepare new hire paperwork ensuring legislation requirements are met.
·Maintain a complete record of interviews and new hires.

What sets you up for success… our ideal candidate
- Must be seeking a part-time opportunity (min 3 days per week) – applications considered on this basis only
- Tertiary qualification (Certificate or Diploma in Human Resources ) is desirable or 3+ years experience in a Recruitment role and sound understanding of Recruitment Practices
- Exposure to Australian legislation and awards
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build rapport at all levels.
- Excellent organisational skills, ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism
and discretion.
- Resourceful problem solver with strong attention to detail.
- Exceptional verbal & written communication skills.
- Experience using Microsoft office suite of products and ability to familiarise self with new systems and infrastructure quickly (experience with Employment Hero desired but not essential)
