Position Overview:

Join our Darwin team as a Project Administrator and play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of engineering and maintenance projects. You will coordinate project activities, manage documentation, support reporting and liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure projects run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide efficient administrative support to the project team to ensure smooth project delivery
  • Prepare, format and distribute project information, ensuring accurate record management and document control
  • Respond promptly to information requests from clients, suppliers, divisional teams and project stakeholders
  • Work closely with the Project Managers / Coordinators to understand priorities and ensure key actions and updates are clearly communicated across the team
  • Ensure all site personnel complete required inductions and comply with site entry requirements prior to commencement
  • Maintain and update site registers, ensuring accuracy of workforce and compliance records
  • Coordinate meetings, including scheduling, agenda preparation and follow up actions
  • Prepare, process and submit invoices to the Finance department in a timely manner

  

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Project Administrator in marine, engineering or project-based environments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project – Basic level (task entry, dependencies, updates, Gantt navigation).
  • Ability to obtain and hold a National Police Clearance to meet Defence site access requirements.
  • Current White Card Construction Induction Card or ability to obtain.
  • Current valid Driver’s License.
