Description

Are you an experienced Painter / Blaster looking for a rewarding career? Griffin Marine Services Pty Ltd, a leading provider of marine services to Defence and commercial operators, is seeking skilled Painter / Blasters to join our growing team.

We have casual and full-time opportunities available in our QLD based team working across multiple sites.

As a Painter with Griffin Marine Services, your responsibilities will include:

• Prepare surfaces for painting through blasting, mechanical work, and other treatments.

• Apply various coatings using spray, brush, roll, and other techniques on ships and industrial sites.

• Ensure high-quality painting and blasting work, meeting all specifications.

• Safely operate and maintain painting and blasting equipment.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• At least 2 years of painting, blasting and spraying experience.

• A good understanding of Safety and PPE requirements in an industrial environment.

• The ability to perform physically demanding tasks.

• The ability to work well in a team.

• An OHS Construction Induction White Card, Driver’s License and eligible to hold a Defence Clearance Access Card (DCAC).

Desirable Requirements (but not mandatory): Confined Space Entry, Fire Sentry Training, and Working at Heights certification.
