ABOUT THE ROLE
Great Southern Grammar is seeking a highly organised customer-focused and proactive Uniform Shop Manager to oversee the effective day-to-day operation of the School’s Uniform Shop. This is an important front-facing role within our school community assisting new and current families, students and staff with uniform requirements and providing a professional, welcoming and efficient service.
The position will commence at the beginning of Term Four, Monday 12 October or by negotiation. This is a part-time, term-time role, with additional weeks required during the October and January school holiday periods. Some flexibility will be required during peak times, including occasional early starts, later closing times and additional hours during key enrolment periods.
ABOUT YOU
The successful applicant will bring strong customer service skills and sales experience, sound organisational ability and excellent attention to detail. Previous experience in retail, sales, administration, customer service, stock control, purchasing or similar environment will be highly regarded. Experience in clothing, apparel retail or school uniform environment would be advantageous.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
·Managing day-to-day operations
·Assisting students and families with uniform requirements, exchanges and enquiries
·Monitoring stock levels and placing orders
·Liaising with approved suppliers and manufacturers
·Operating point of sale systems and processing payments
·Managing the second-hand uniform service, including the GSG Buy Sell and Swap Facebook page
