Are you someone who take pride in maintaining high standards and enjoys working as part of a friendly and supportive team? Great Southern Grammar is seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to help support daily operations of our boarding dining facilities.

The opportunity 

• Assist with cleaning and upkeep of kitchen, dining and storage areas
• Support food preparation under the guidance of the Catering Manager
• Assist with deliveries, stock storage and kitchen operations
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, food safety and workplace safety
• Work collaboratively with catering, boarding and school staff
• Support the smooth and efficient operation of the boarding dining room

What you will bring 

• Experience in a similar cleaning, catering or hospitality role highly regarded
• Knowledge of food handling and safe work practices
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Positive attitude and ability to work independently and within a team
• Ability to remain calm and productive in a busy environment
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
