Good Shepherd Lodge Ltd are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physiotherapist to join our Allied Health team in Mackay, Queensland. This role is essential for providing high-quality rehabilitation services to our patients. Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical conditions and needs.
- Develop and implement tailored treatment plans to improve patients’ mobility and quality of life.
- Utilise a variety of therapeutic techniques and modalities to facilitate recovery.
- Monitor and evaluate patients’ progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Educate patients and their families on injury prevention and rehabilitation strategies.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with best practices in physiotherapy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent qualification.
- First Aid and CPR certification.
- Current police clearance certificate.
- Current registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a clinical setting, preferably in an allied health role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
- Proficient in using physiotherapy equipment and technology.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and learning.
