The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Solicitor to join our dynamic Public Liabilities teams. Reporting to senior leadership, you will play a key role in managing and resolving client cases, supervising staff, and driving successful outcomes while upholding the firm’s high ethical and professional standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of personal injury matters from intake to resolution.
  • Prepare and review pleadings, Statements of Claim, and other court documents.
  • Conduct legal research and provide strategic advice on case merits.
  • Attend conferences, mediations, arbitrations, and court hearings with clients and barristers.
  • Negotiate and settle claims in line with client instructions.
  • Maintain regular and clear communication with clients, ensuring superior client service.
  • Supervise and mentor support staff to ensure compliance with firm protocols.
  • Meet individual KPIs including file management, client satisfaction, and fee budgets.
  • Maintain compliance with all professional obligations, including CPD requirements.

About You

You will bring:

  • Admission as a Solicitor in NSW with a current practising certificate.
  • Minimum 3 -5+ years’ post-admission experience in personal injury litigation.
  • Strong advocacy, negotiation, and client management skills.
  • A proven track record in achieving successful client outcomes.
  • High attention to detail, with excellent organisational and file management abilities.
  • Ability to mentor and supervise junior staff.
  • A collaborative approach, aligned with the firm’s values and standards.
