Warehouse Leading Hand

Glass Outlet is a leading national wholesaler of glass, fencing and associated building products

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Leading Hand to support daily warehouse operations, lead and motivate the team, and ensure trade customers receive efficient, friendly service

About the Role

Working within a supportive team, you will take a hands-on approach to coordinating warehouse activities while maintaining accuracy, productivity and safety

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring trade customers are served promptly and receive a high standard of customer service.
  • Coordinating team activities to maintain productivity, efficiency and accurate order picking.
  • Ensuring outgoing goods are dispatched accurately and on time.
  • Coordinating and assisting with receiving and putting away incoming stock.
  • Coordinating rolling stocktakes to maintain stock accuracy and identify issues with picking processes or warehouse systems.
  • Performing general warehouse duties as required.

About You

You will ideally bring:

  • Previous experience as a Warehouse Leading Hand or in a similar warehouse leadership role.
  • A sound understanding of warehouse and distribution operations.
  • The ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with warehouse and office teams.
  • Practical problem-solving skills and a proactive, can-do attitude.
  • Strong attention to detail and a focus on quality and safety.
  • A positive, team-focused approach.
