Yatala Depot | South Brisbane & Northern Gold Coast

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Groundsperson to join our growing grounds maintenance team based out of our Yatala depot, servicing sites across Southern Brisbane and the Northern Gold Coast.

About the Role

This is a hands-on outdoor role working as part of a friendly and experienced grounds maintenance crew. You’ll work across a range of commercial and government maintenance contracts, helping keep gardens, lawns and landscaped areas looking their best. You’ll work alongside your team to complete jobs safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Daily duties include:

• Lawn mowing and edging
• Hedging and pruning
• Whipper snipping
• Weed spraying and control
• General landscaping and garden maintenance
• Planting and garden care
• Operating and maintaining equipment safely
• Working as part of a team to complete daily maintenance schedules
• Maintaining sites to a high standard

What We’re Looking For

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Experience in horticulture, landscaping or grounds maintenance
• Strong knowledge of garden and turf maintenance practices
• Current White Card
• Current Manual Driver’s Licence
• Ability to work outdoors in a physically demanding role
• Reliable, hardworking and safety-focused attitude
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Pride in delivering quality workmanship

Highly Regarded

• ACDC Licence
• Certificate III in Horticulture or similar qualification
• Experience working on commercial or government maintenance sites
• Experience operating ride-on mowers and other landscaping equipment
