Team Member – WSUD (Water Sensitive Urban Design Assets) 📍 Based at Yatala Depot | Servicing sites across the Gold Coast LGA

Technigro is looking for motivated and reliable Team Members to join our WSUD team, maintaining and enhancing Water Sensitive Urban Design assets across the Gold Coast LGA region.

About the Role

Working as part of a small, supportive crew and reporting to the WSUD Team Leader, you’ll be involved in a variety of hands-on maintenance activities that help protect natural water systems within urban environments.

This is an active outdoor role where you’ll work across different sites and environments, with plenty of variety in your day-to-day work.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out routine maintenance of WSUD assets and surrounding areas
• Vegetation management, weed removal and general landscaping duties
• Brush cutting and chemical spraying
• Assist with site inspections and identifying maintenance issues
• Use a range of hand tools and outdoor maintenance equipment
• Maintain sites to a high standard and ensure work is completed safely
• Work as part of a team to complete daily tasks efficiently
• Follow all workplace health, safety and environmental requirements

About You

• Previous experience in landscaping, grounds maintenance or a similar outdoor role is desirable
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Reliable, hardworking and physically fit
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Able to work effectively as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
• Good communication skills
• Driver’s licence (essential)
• White Card (essential)
• Chemical ticket and/or experience with chemical spraying (desirable)
