If you’re passionate about supporting people with disabilities to achieve independence, inclusion, and choice through housing, we’d love to hear from you. 🏡 About the Role As our SDA Engagement Officer, you’ll play a key role in supporting successful tenanting of our new SDA projects. You’ll be the link between potential tenants, their families, support providers, and allied health teams — helping ensure each person finds a home that’s safe, suitable, and empowering. 💼 Key Responsibilities • Manage enquiries, applications, and waitlists for SDA properties • Facilitate and participate in tenancy and stakeholder meetings • Support successful SDA applications (including legacy upgrades) • Coordinate tenant matching in shared housing environments • Assist tenants and providers with transitions into new homes • Maintain accurate records, reports, and progress notes • Collaborate with internal teams across tenancy management, marketing, and maintenance • Contribute to projects, audits, and promotional activities About You You’ll bring: ✅ Strong interpersonal and communication skills ✅ Experience working with people with disability and their support networks ✅ Understanding of (or experience with) the NDIS and SDA processes ✅ Excellent record-keeping and organisational abilities ✅ Confidence coordinating multiple stakeholders in complex situations ✅ Relevant qualifications in disability studies, social welfare, social work, or allied health — or equivalent experience Applicants with lived experience of disability are strongly encouraged to apply.
