About the Opportunity

Geosurv is looking for experienced Civil Labourers to join our growing Utility Investigations & Maintenance team.

You will work across a range of major infrastructure, utility and maintenance projects throughout NSW, with consistent work, overtime opportunities and the chance to develop your skills across Geosurv’s broader Utilities Network.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone with experience in civil construction, roadworks, utilities, excavation or reinstatement who takes pride in doing the job properly and safely.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Support NDD crews with excavation, breakout and utility investigation works
  • Complete backfilling, compaction and site reinstatement
  • Carry out concrete, asphalt and paving repairs and reinstatement
  • Safely operate road saws, concrete coring equipment, jackhammers, compactors and other civil equipment
  • Assist with site establishment, preparation and pack-up
  • Work closely with NDD operators, supervisors and other crew members to deliver quality outcomes

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for people who are comfortable working in a hands-on civil environment and can bring:

  • Previous experience in civil construction, utilities, roadworks or infrastructure
  • Experience completing concrete and/or asphalt reinstatement
  • Confidence using common civil construction tools and equipment
  • Experience working around excavation and underground services
  • A strong understanding of site safety requirements
  • Good attention to detail and pride in the quality of your work
  • A reliable, hardworking and team-focused attitude
  • Willingness to work overtime when required

Essential Requirements

  • HR Driver Licence
  • White Card
  • Physically fit and comfortable undertaking manual work
  • Reliable and safety-focused approach to work
