Description

We are excited to welcome applications for a Part Time Regional Clinical Supervisor (Speech Pathology) to join our team. This is a remote position, so you can be based anywhere from Gold Coast to Brisbane, no need to be near a specific office or region.

This is a Speech Pathology role, so we’re especially keen to hear from experienced Speechies who love mentoring and developing others.

This is a leadership role for a Clinician who loves mentoring and developing others. You’ll dedicate your time to supervision only, working 2-3 days per week to guide a team of Clinicians ranging from new graduates through to those 4-5 years into their career, toward clinical excellence.

As a Regional Clinical Supervisor, you’ll provide leadership through supervision of our Speech Pathology team, supporting Speechies at every stage of their career with regular, high-quality supervision that adheres to industry regulations and upholds our clinical excellence and quality of care standards.

What does the role involve?

  • Providing clinical supervision and mentorship to ensure high professional standards of service across a team spanning new grads to more experienced Clinicians (4-5 years’ experience)
  • Providing clinical leadership within our Speech Pathology team, remotely
  • Running 1:1 and group supervision sessions (weekly, fortnightly or monthly as required) including case file audits, report reviews, support in clinical decision-making, and shadow & joint visits
  • Tailoring your support to each Clinician’s stage from foundational guidance for new grads through to more advanced clinical reasoning support for experienced Clinicians
  • Maintaining supervision records and keeping Team Managers across each Clinician’s clinical competency and reasoning
  • Leading continuous quality improvement, discipline manual updates, documentation audits, service development planning and project work
  • Supporting the induction of new team members and the skills matrix assessment of Clinicians in your care

How does GenPhysio support our Supervisors?

  • Guided orientation into your leadership role — support to gradually establish your supervision remit and feel confident from day one
  • A collaborative supervision community — backed by our senior in-house Supervision team, you won’t be doing this alone
  • MDT catch-ups with your team of fellow Speechies, OTs, Physios, PODs, Dietitians and Exercise Physiologists
  • Ongoing development to keep growing both your leadership and clinical skills

What GenPhysio offers our team

  • Flexibility – a remote role built around 2-3 supervision sessions per week, structured to fit your schedule
  • Professional Development – $2,000 PD allowance and 3 days paid study leave
  • Birthday Leave – enjoy your special day on us
  • Starter Kit – we supply everything you need to be set up for success: company laptop, mobile, iPad and funding for resources to support supervision
