Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Disability Support Worker to assist individuals with disabilities in achieving their personal goals and maintaining independence. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing high-quality care and support to clients with various disabilities.

7. Physical stamina for assisting clients with daily tasks

8. Manual and Ceiling hoist Experiance is a must.

Responsibilities:

1. Providing personal care, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding assistance.

2. Supporting clients in daily activities such as meal preparation, household chores, and transportation.

3. Assisting with medication management under the supervision of healthcare professionals.

4. Developing individualized care plans based on client needs and goals.

5. Advocating for clients’ rights and ensuring their well-being is prioritized.

6.Collaborating with healthcare professionals, family members, and other support services to provide holistic care.

Qualifications:

1.Certificate III or IV in Disability Support or equivalent qualification (preferred)

2.Proven experience working in the disability sector

3.Valid First Aid/CPR certification

4.Working With Children Check (WWCC) clearance

5. Yellow Card

6.Drivers license (preferred)
