Description

Are you an experienced Practice Manager or Clinic Manager who thrives in a fast-paced, people-first healthcare environment? Our busy specialist clinic in Brisbane is looking for a natural leader to run day-to-day operations, front-of-house, and deliver an exceptional experience for every client who walks through the door.

About the Role

This is a full-time, on-site Practice Manager role at the heart of a busy specialist medical clinic. You’ll be hands-on across reception and client-facing duties as well as leading staff, overseeing clinic operations, and managing financial processes. It’s a varied, hands-on role suited to someone who’s happy working both on the floor and behind the scenes — no two days will look the same, and your ability to juggle both will directly shape the quality of care clients receive.

Key Responsibilities

  • Acting as the first point of contact at reception — greeting clients, managing appointments, and handling enquiries in person and by phone
  • Leading and motivating the clinic support team, including rostering, scheduling, and workforce planning
  • Working closely with medical specialists to ensure smooth clinic operations and optimal clinician utilisation
  • Delivering an exceptional client journey from first contact through to aftercare
  • Overseeing stock management, consumables, and equipment to keep the clinic fully operational
  • Managing financial processes including P&L monitoring, invoicing, and end-of-day banking
  • Ensuring the clinic remains compliant, safe, and presented to the highest standard at all times
  • Supporting marketing and sales initiatives as the clinic continues to grow
  • Reporting directly to the Head of Operations.

Skills and Experience

  • Prior experience as a Practice Manager, Clinic Manager, or in senior clinic/medical administration, ideally including reception or front-of-house responsibilities
  • Comfortable balancing hands-on reception duties with broader management responsibilities
  • Experience working alongside medical specialists (highly advantageous)
  • Solid understanding of financial management and reporting
  • Confidence building relationships with clients, specialists, and staff at all levels
  • Proven ability to lead and develop a team in a fast-paced healthcare environment
  • Strong organisational skills and excellent written and verbal communication
  • A sharp eye for detail and a proactive, solutions-focused approach
  • A genuine passion for delivering outstanding client experiences

Benefits

  • Competitive salary commensurate to experience
  • A clinic that genuinely invests in its people and their development
  • A positive, collaborative team culture where people enjoy coming to work
  • Real ownership of your role and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact
  • The chance to work alongside experienced medical specialists in a growing, dynamic clinic

People enjoy working at Gro because the work genuinely changes lives — every procedure helps a client feel more confident in their own skin. We’re a close-knit, supportive team where clinical excellence is valued. We celebrate our people, including a paid day off on your birthday.
