Gadd Group is a leader in hardscape landscaping and nature play construction, delivering high quality playscapes and outdoor environments across Australia. We are looking for a motivated Trades Assistant to support our teams.

This is a hands on role for someone who enjoys variety, helping out where needed and supporting skilled teams on high quality outdoor projects. Construction experience is a plus for tasks like building planter boxes, assembling structures and getting stuck in on site when needed. 

About the Role: 

As a Trades Assistant you will support our teams and Project Manager across a variety of tasks including: 

  • Staining and painting timber materials 
  • Preparing and pre finishing materials for upcoming jobs 
  • Helping build planter boxes, assemble structures and other construction tasks 
  • Picking up and delivering materials to job sites 
  • Assisting on site with tasks such as backfilling and general labour 
  • Supporting our teams with day to day tasks 
  • Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work environment 
  • Handling tools, materials and company vehicles responsibly 
  • Jumping in wherever needed to keep projects moving smoothly

Tickets & Licences 

  • Blue Card / Working with Children  
  • White Card (Required) 
  • LR (Light Rigid) Licence would be an advantage  
  • Additional trade or construction experience (preferred)
