Summary:

The Finance Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial operations of our manufacturing and production business in Australia. This position is essential for ensuring financial stability and compliance, while also providing strategic insights to support business growth.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in finance and accounting, with a focus on the manufacturing sector.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the finance team, providing guidance, support and performance oversight
  • Prepare and deliver accurate and timely financial reports for management and stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain financial forecasts to support strategic decision-making
  • Coordinate the preparation, monitoring, and management of budgets across the business
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory, regulatory, and financial reporting requirements
  • Monitor foreign exchange (FX) exposure and related financial activities
  • Support business case development and financial analysis for investment and growth initiatives
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and contribute to minor process improvement initiatives

Qualifications:

  • Professional accounting qualification and training
  • Demonstrated experience in bookkeeping, accounting, and financial management
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to analyse financial data and provide commercially focused recommendations
  • Experience leading and developing finance teams
