As the Australian importer and distributor of our own ENFORCER range of forklifts and material handling equipment, we are continually expanding our engineering capability and are seeking a motivated Graduate Mechanical Engineer to join our team.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a recent engineering graduate to build a career within a growing national business where engineering plays a critical role in supporting customers, equipment compliance, product development, and technical innovation.
Working from our Brisbane Head Office, you will be involved in a diverse range of engineering activities, gaining exposure to real-world applications of mechanical engineering in mobile equipment and material handling systems.
You will work alongside experienced engineers, technicians, and industry professionals to provide engineering support across our national operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist in developing engineering solutions for customer-specific material handling applications
• Support equipment modifications, customisations, and attachment integration projects
• Prepare engineering drawings, technical documentation, and design calculations
• Assist with compliance assessments and engineering approvals
• Support product development and continuous improvement initiatives across the ENFORCER product range
• Conduct equipment inspections and technical evaluations
• Provide technical support to sales, service, and operations teams nationally
• Liaise with suppliers, customers, technicians, and regulatory bodies
• Assist in developing engineering standards, procedures, and technical resources
About You
We are looking for a graduate who is eager to learn, enjoys solving practical engineering problems, and wants to develop a long-term career in industrial equipment and material handling.
Essential Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or graduating within the next 12 months)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence or ability to obtain one
Highly Regarded
• Internship, vacation work, or project experience involving machinery, manufacturing, mining, transport, logistics, or industrial equipment
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems, structures, mobile equipment, or mechanical design
• Practical workshop or fabrication experience
• Interest in forklifts, heavy equipment, vehicles, or industrial machinery
