THE OPPORTUNITY

Looking to join the NEW Fluiconnecto Ryco brand and professional environment of Respect, Safety with a can-do attitude?

Due to more growth in the business and further contract wins, we are currently seeking an experienced Hose Technician to join our well-established teams in Newman WA. You will provide high-quality multi-product install, repair and maintenance service to a diverse range of customers. You will get to work on all sorts of mechanical gear, for all sorts of clients in all sorts of places. This is a permanent, secure, roles working on an 08 ON / 06 OFF ROSTER offering great hourly pay rates $$$. Someone will residential to the Newman area preferred or wants to relocate but FIFO from Perth is also considered.

Please Note: You must be willing to undertake a Pre Employment Medical and Police Check before taking up this role.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Strong experience in providing technical service and troubleshooting/breakdown support
• Have the strong ability to repair and replace hydraulic hoses at customer and mine sites as required
• Conduct tests of mechanical systems on site
• Manufacture hose assemblies
• Maintain hose rooms at sites in a safe and tidy state
• Identify sales opportunities through product cross selling and optimisation
• Liaise closely with key stakeholders to ensure high level of customer satisfaction is achieve

ABOUT YOU

• Broad understanding of hydraulic systems and principles
• Exposure to service/repair of hydraulic and pneumatic Industrial/Mobile equipment
• Relevant trade or TAFE qualifications or at least 3 years or experience in a similar role
• Unrestricted Australian work rights and must hold a valid visa
• Current Australian driver’s licence
• Mechanical aptitude
• Knowledge of the principles and processes for providing excellent customer service
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be willing to undertake a Pre Employment Medical Check and Police Check
• Be either residential or looking to relocate to Newman / or available for FIFO work from Perth.
