Flight Risk: the country’s fastest-growing e-bike brand. Premium electric bikes sold online, in-store, and through a national reseller network. Known for safety, tech, and a riding experience people actually want to talk about.
Fone King: 12 stores across Australia. The destination for mobile phone fashion, repairs, the best creator tools and gadgets. Phone-fuelled living, equipping people with the right tech for life’s adventures.
This role sits within Flight Risk, and also supports Fone King, our sister brand in mobile tech and accessories. Different categories, same energy: bold brands, loyal communities, and a refusal to be boring.
The Role
We’re looking for a Marketing Manager to shape how both brands show up in market, owning campaigns, activations, brand presence, and the calendar that drives all of it.
You’ll work alongside a Head of Digital and a Social Media Lead, with brand direction from our Brand Advisor. This isn’t just a coordination seat. You’ll have real input into how campaigns are conceived, how brand moments come to life, and how two very different audiences get reached and won over.
Two brands, double the creative scope. One day you’re deep in rider culture, the next you’re shaping a gadget drop. Genuinely varied, genuinely yours to run.
What You’ll Own
Campaigns & Activations
- Shape and lead campaign planning end-to-end for both Flight Risk and Fone King, from concept to execution
- Bring ideas to the table, not just timelines. You’ll influence what campaigns look like, not only when they land
- Own event and activation delivery, from Flight Risk rider moments to Fone King store activations across 12 locations
- Manage agency relationships
Marketing Calendar
- Own and maintain the master marketing calendar across both brands
- Keep digital, social, retail, and resellers moving to the same plan
- Proactively flag opportunities, gaps, and priorities across the business
Brand Consistency
- Ensure each brand shows up consistently and distinctly across every touchpoint: in-store, online, reseller, packaging, and comms
- Own the reseller marketing toolkit for Flight Risk
- Support brand consistency across Fone King’s 12-store retail network
- Be the day-to-day guardian of brand standards while strategy is set above you
Reporting
- Monthly campaign performance reporting across both brands
- Brand perception and sentiment tracking
- Post-activation debriefs across events, campaigns, and partnerships
What We’re Looking For
- 4–6 years in marketing, ideally across retail, DTC, or consumer brand environments
- Strong campaign management background. You’ve run campaigns across multiple channels and kept everyone aligned
- Comfortable managing more than one brand or category at once
- Organised and structured. You build the calendar and actually keep it updated
- Confident working with creative, digital, and external agency partners
- Brand-literate. You understand what good looks like and you’ll push back when it isn’t
