The Email Marketing Specialist – Service Communications will help deliver timely, meaningful and personalised communications that support our Members, Helpers and teams across every stage of their journey. This will improve customer experiences, streamline processes and ensure people get the right information when they need it most.

About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Email Marketing Specialist who is passionate about creating seamless customer communication experiences through automation, data and smart journey design.

This role is focused on developing, delivering and optimising service and operational communications across email, SMS and marketing automation platforms. You’ll work closely with teams across the business to transform complex information and processes into clear, customer-focused communications that drive engagement, understanding and action.

From automated workflows and lifecycle journeys to campaign optimisation and reporting, you’ll play a key role in helping us deliver the right message to the right audience at the right time. What You’ll Be Doing

  • Creating and optimising automated email and SMS journeys across the customer lifecycle.
  • Delivering service communications that keep Members, Helpers and stakeholders informed and engaged.
  • Identifying opportunities to automate processes and improve communication efficiency.
  • Analysing performance data and testing new approaches to improve engagement and outcomes.
  • Partnering with teams across the business to develop clear, customer-focused communications.
  • Managing marketing automation and CRM platforms to support effective communication delivery.
  • Monitoring communication effectiveness and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

 

About You

You’re a strong communicator who enjoys turning complex information into clear, engaging and customer-friendly messaging. You combine attention to detail with a passion for improving processes and creating exceptional customer experiences.

You’ll bring:

  • Experience in email marketing, marketing automation, digital communications or lifecycle marketing.
  • Proven success managing service, operational or customer communications in a complex environment.
  • Strong experience developing and optimising automated communication workflows and customer journeys.
  • Confidence working with marketing automation platforms and CRM systems.
  • Excellent writing skills and the ability to tailor messages for different audiences.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience using performance data to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Experience with testing, personalisation and optimisation techniques.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and a passion for continuous improvement.
  • A customer-centric approach and genuine alignment with the Five Good Friends purpose and values.
