HC Driver

We’re currently seeking experienced and reliable Heavy Vehicle Delivery Drivers to join our Operations team running freight across the Illawarra region and beyond.

This role suits drivers who are comfortable behind the wheel of a heavy vehicle, take pride in delivering on time, and represent FCC professionally at every stop. You’ll be responsible for completing linehaul runs safely, efficiently and in line with all chain of responsibility requirements.

This opportunity is based from Unanderra, NSW.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Complete freight collections and deliveries across Sydney, Illawarra or South Coast
• Operate rigid or semi-trailer vehicles in line with your licence class
• Conduct pre-start vehicle checks and report defects promptly
• Use a PDA or scanning device to maintain accurate freight records
• Comply with all chain of responsibility, fatigue management and mass management requirements
• Provide professional and courteous service to customers at every delivery point
• Follow all safety, compliance and operational procedures

What You’ll Bring

• Current HC licence
• A strong commitment to safety and chain of responsibility compliance
• Demonstrated experience driving heavy vehicles in a freight or logistics environment
• Ability to load and unload freight safely, including manual handling tasks
• A positive, reliable attitude and strong work ethic
• Clear communication skills and a professional approach to customer contact
• Knowledge of the local and regional road network (desirable)
• A satisfactory driving history and criminal history check
• Full Australian working rights
