About the Role
We are looking for a highly organised and practical Farm Administration Officer to join our farm operations team on a part-time (22.5 hours per week) basis.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys administration but also likes being connected to day-to-day operations. You will work closely with our Farm Manager and broader farm team, helping keep records up to date, coordinating deliveries and contractors, supporting safety systems, and ensuring the smooth running of the farm office.
This role would suit someone with strong administration skills who enjoys variety, can manage multiple tasks at once, and is comfortable working in a farming or rural environment.
What You Will Be Doing
Reporting to the Farm Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining farm administration records and documentation
- Entering, updating and reporting production data
- Tracking stock movements, supplies and inventory information
- Assisting with purchase orders and supplier communications
- Coordinating deliveries, freight movements and collections
- Managing contractor and visitor sign-in processes
- Supporting health, safety and environmental record keeping
- Helping maintain training and compliance records
- Assisting with contractor administration and coordination
- Maintaining office supplies and supporting general office operations
- Assisting with data collection and reporting for farm activities when required
About you
To be successful, you will have:
- Previous administration experience with strong attention to detail
- Good computer skills and confidence using Microsoft Excel
- Strong written communication skills
- Experience maintaining records, reports and documentation accurately
- Experience managing competing priorities and staying organised
- Strong planning and follow-up skills
- The ability to build positive working relationships with a wide range of people
- A practical and proactive approach to solving problems
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
