Emergency Services Officer – Kalgoorlie

Are you an experienced Emergency Response professional ready for your next challenge? ERS is seeking a highly skilled Emergency Services Officer to support our client’s team on a care and maintenance project in Western Australia’s Goldfields region.

The Opportunity

• FIFO position based in Western Australia’s Goldfields region
• Casual contract through until April 2027
• Competitive pay and paid travel time
• 9 Day Fortnight – 5:2,4:3 – 12 Hour Shifts with paid travel time

You’ll play a vital role on our client’s site, covering a range of responsibilities from emergency preparedness to incident response, medical care, and emergency management.

About You

• Experience and qualifications in emergency response within mining
• Strong working knowledge of emergency response protocols and procedures
• Medical capability in emergency response
• Excellent communication skills
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
• Physically fit and prepared for the operational demands of the role

Qualifications

• RII30719 – Certificate III in Emergency Response and Rescue
• HLT41120 – Certificate IV in Health Care (or higher)
• HLTPAT005 – Collect Specimens for Drugs of Abuse Testing
• HLTAID011 – Provide First Aid (current within 3 years)
• HLTAID009 – Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) (current within 12 months)
• Heavy Rigid (HR) Driver’s Licence, to operate site fire appliances (highly desirable)
• National Police Clearance
• Australian Working Rights
