Description

Talent Acquisition Specialist — Australian Hospitality & Retail

Full-time | Fully remote (Philippines-based) | Aligned to Sydney business hours

Recruit for some of Australia’s best-known venues and brands — from wherever you are.

Evollve is an embedded HR consultancy based in Sydney, Australia. We’re not a BPO and we’re not a recruitment agency. We work as the in-house HR function for growth-stage Australian businesses — hospitality groups, retail brands, engineering firms and consultancies — sitting inside their teams, using their systems, and carrying their names.

We’re hiring our first offshore Talent Acquisition Specialist to run end-to-end recruitment across our hospitality and retail clients. That means everything from hiring 40 venue staff before a new site opens, through to shortlisting a Venue General Manager or a Head of Retail.

You’ll be part of our team — not a vendor, not a resource. Same tools, same stand-ups, same client relationships.

What you’ll actually be doing

  • Sourcing and pipeline

Build and maintain talent pipelines across hospitality (chefs, front-of-house, venue management) and retail (store teams, area managers, head office)

Proactively source through LinkedIn, Seek, Indeed, and direct outreach — not just posting and praying

Map talent for hard-to-fill and repeat-hire roles before the vacancy lands

  • End-to-end recruitment

Write job ads that actually convert, tailored to each client’s brand and voice

Screen applications, run phone screens, and present clean, decision-ready shortlists

Coordinate interviews across multiple hiring managers, time zones and venues

Manage reference checks, right-to-work verification and offer preparation

Keep candidates warm and informed at every stage — candidate experience is non-negotiable here

  • Systems and reporting

Own the ATS end to end (we use Employment Hero across most clients)

Keep every requisition current — no stale pipelines, no candidates left in limbo

Report on time-to-fill, source effectiveness, pipeline health and cost-per-hire

Spot the patterns and tell us: what’s working, what isn’t, what we should change

  • Client partnership

Run intake briefings directly with client hiring managers and venue GMs

Give real advice on role scoping, market realities and salary expectations

Juggle competing priorities across four to six clients at once without dropping the ball

What you’ll bring

  • 2–3 years’ recruitment experience — agency, RPO, in-house or offshore delivery for an international client\
  • Genuine end-to-end ownership: you’ve sourced, screened, coordinated and closed
  • Experience with high-volume hiring — you know what it takes to fill 30 roles in three weeks
  • Excellent written and spoken English. You’ll be writing job ads and speaking directly with Australian hiring managers and candidates every day
  • Confident with an ATS and comfortable learning new systems fast
  • Organised to a fault — you run your own diary, chase your own deadlines, and don’t need to be followed up
  • Willing to work Sydney business hours (approx. 6:00am–3:00pm Manila time, shifting by an hour with Australian daylight saving)
  • Reliable home internet, a quiet workspace, and a professional setup for video calls
  • Nice to have
  • Hospitality or retail recruitment experience
  • Familiarity with the Australian market — Fair Work basics, modern awards, or Seek/LinkedIn Recruiter
  • Employment Hero experience
  • Exposure to employer branding, EVP or recruitment marketing

Why Evollve

  • Real exposure to the Australian market — you’ll build genuine expertise, not just process tickets
  • Variety — multiple clients, multiple brands, no two weeks the same
  • A seat at the table — you’ll speak directly to business owners and GMs, not through three layers of account management
  • Long-term and stable — this is a permanent role in a growing business, with a clear path into senior TA or HR partnering
  • Fully remote, permanently — no return-to-office plans, no hybrid asterisk
  • A small, senior team that will actually invest in you

How to apply

Send your CV and a short note covering:

  1. A high-volume or hard-to-fill role you owned end to end — what you did, and how long it took
  2. Your experience working with international clients or across time zones
  3. Your monthly salary expectation

Applications close 30th August 2026. We review as we go, so early applications are an advantage.

Evollve is an equal opportunity employer. We assess every application on skills, experience and capability. If you need an adjustment to the recruitment process, tell us and we’ll make it work.
