Warehouse Operator

Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Operator to join our manufacturing team in Australia. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse, contributing to the timely preparation and handling of customer orders. This position is vital for maintaining our high standards of service and operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Receive, store, and dispatch goods in accordance with company procedures
• Prepare and handle customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Assist with stocktakes and cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and effectively
• Follow clear verbal instructions from supervisors and team leaders
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment to ensure safety and efficiency
• Understands and is responsible for quality control standards
• Possesses an advanced level of interpersonal and communication skills
• Competent keyboard skills
• Sound working knowledge of all warehousing duties performed at levels below this grade, exercises discretion within scope of this grade
• May perform work requiring minimal supervision either individually or in a team environment.

Qualifications:

• Forklift operation and safe handling skills
• Warehouse experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience preparing and handling customer orders
• Experience assisting with stocktakes and cycle counts
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to follow clear verbal and written instructions
