Description

We are looking for a reliable and hands-on Entry-Level Shoe Maker to join our footwear production team.

No previous shoemaking experience is required, as full on-the-job training will be provided. You will learn different stages of the footwear production process, including material preparation, leather cutting, shoe assembly, sole bonding, quality checking and packing.

This role is suitable for someone who enjoys practical work, pays attention to detail and is interested in learning footwear-making skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform various stages of footwear production under supervision.
  • Assist with shoe assembly, including gluing and sole bonding procedures.
  • Check finished products to ensure quality standards are met
  • Pack completed footwear
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area
  • Follow production procedures and workplace safety requirements
  • Assist with other production tasks as required

About You

  • Eagerness to learn and develop practical footwear-making skills.
  • Good attention to detail
  • Reliable, punctual and hardworking
  • Experience in manufacturing, factory work, or hands-on production environments is advantageous.
  • Ability to maintain focus during repetitive tasks.

Experience in manufacturing, factory work, leatherwork or other hands-on production environments would be an advantage, but is not essential.

Full training will be provided.
