Are you reliable, hands-on and enjoy being part of a team where your work makes a genuine difference? We’re looking for a Housekeeper to join our team at our Townsville village. Supporting our Village Manager and broader team, you’ll play an important role in maintaining clean, safe and welcoming living spaces for our residents.

What’s the role?

Reporting to the Village Manager and working closely with the broader village team, you’ll help keep our residents’ homes and communal areas clean, safe and welcoming. Your responsibilities will include:

• Cleaning and maintaining resident rooms and communal areas
• Changing linen and making beds
• Vacuuming, mopping and dusting throughout the village
• Cleaning and sanitising bathrooms and kitchen areas
• Following infection control, WHS and chemical handling procedures
• Engaging positively and respectfully with residents and contributing to a welcoming village environment

• Have previous experience in housekeeping, cleaning or a similar environment, although this is desirable rather than essential
• Understand the importance of hygiene, infection control and maintaining high standards of cleanliness
• Are reliable, organised and comfortable following procedures and instructions
• Enjoy working as part of a team and interacting respectfully with residents
• Are available to work flexible casual shifts
