About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to play a pivotal role in supporting the Energy Bay Asset Management team through managing multiple projects simultaneously, the role ensures timely and accurate coordination to drive successful project outcomes.
This role supports operational performance and contractor management, while coordinating project administration, scheduling, forecasting, handovers, and stakeholder requests across the business and provide continuous improvement across all operational activities.
The successful candidate will work closely with Project Manager to drive the successful delivery of Asset Management and Optimisation outcomes, ensuring compliance with safety standards, quality expectations, and project timeframes.

As a Project Coordinator with Energy Bay, you will be responsible for:
- Coordinate and support the delivery of multi-site projects, ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Manage subcontractor relationships, ensuring compliance, performance, and safety standards are met.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of project schedules using industry-standard tools.
- Provide Ticket of work systems (Procore) support to the field-based staff and construction partners.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution and stakeholder engagement.
- Contribute to project success by gathering and analysing financial and technical performance data, helping to deliver accurate reporting and insights.
- Work closely with the Project Manager to develop, maintain, and monitor project budgets and schedules, supporting effective project delivery.
- Provide proactive administrative and operational support across the Project Team, Asset Management Team, and broader business to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Collaborate with engineering and field teams to coordinate design delivery, maintain technical expertise in embedded networks, and support the timely resolution of operational and project-related issues.
- Safety Excellence: Embed Energy Bay’s HSEQ culture by ensuring compliance with safety standards, ISO systems, and site procedures. Additionally, promote safe behaviours, enforce hazard reporting, and achieve zero non-conformances through audits and inspections.
You will be successful in the role if you possess:
- 5+ years’ experience in a Project Coordinator/Project Officer or Operations Coordinator role within a complex corporate or multi-site environment.
- Demonstrated experience managing subcontractors, suppliers, and vendor relationships.
- Strong project management support skills, including project administration, scheduling, contract management, and coordination of project activities.
- A relevant qualification in Engineering or Construction Management or be a graduate/cadet seeking to establish a career in Project Management.
- Sound Knowledge of Solar and Battery methodology preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Embedded Networks, electricity metering, Distributed Energy Resources (DER), and the Australian energy market.
- Excellent organisational skills written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Builds and nurtures effective relationships with diverse stakeholders, fostering collaboration and trust
- Thrives in high-pressure environments, with a proven ability to pivot and work in an agile workplace onsite and in corporate offices.
- Highly adaptable, working independently or collaboratively to achieve organisational goals.
