About the Role

Enabling Pathways Community Ltd is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join our Business Hub Division. Working closely with the Chief Development Officer and external IT partners, you will design, develop, test, implement and support software applications, automations, integrations and reporting solutions that enhance organisational performance and service delivery.

This is a hands-on technical role focused on creating secure, reliable and scalable solutions that support a growing organisation operating across multiple service areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test and maintain software applications and business solutions.
  • Develop and support system integrations, workflows and automations.
  • Analyse business requirements and translate them into practical technical solutions.
  • Write, maintain and improve program code, scripts and APIs.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve software issues and system faults.
  • Build reports, dashboards and data-driven solutions.
  • Maintain technical documentation, release notes and system records.
  • Apply secure software development and data protection practices.
  • Support users and provide technical guidance for internally developed solutions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, vendors and external IT partners on technology initiatives.

Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrated experience in software engineering, software development or application support.
  • Experience developing and maintaining software applications, APIs, automations or integrations.
  • Experience with databases, SQL and data management principles.
  • Experience with software testing, debugging and version control practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Abilityto work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Power Platform or enterprise business systems is highly desirable.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline is desirable.

Mandatory Requirements

  • Current Australian Driver Licence.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Queensland Working with Children Check (Blue Card).
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
  • First Aid & CPR certificate
  • National Criminal History Check.
  • Right to work in Australia.
  • Ability to travel between Enabling Pathways locations as required.
